How do I split revenue with a partner easily, so there aren't any money problems?

So let's say my partner and I decided to split the revenue 50/50. Is there a secure way to handle this so that a partner cannot run away with 100% of the money?

For example, if we use marketplaces like Clickbank, Paydotcom, etc?

  • My general rule in business, as well as in my personal life, is that anyone I chose to associate / partner with, should not be anyone that I might be even slightly concerned with that they might run away with 100% of my money. But maybe I'm getting to deep...

As Jill points out, JVZoo can do this. They allow you to set up a partner split with (I believe) up to two other partners. In addition, you can also set it up to pay affiliates.

For example, let's say you and your partner agree to split profits 50/50. You also want to pay affiliates 50%. JVZoo will let you pay your affiliates, then share the profits left after your affiliates are paid.

      Hey Arnold,

I take a slightly different approach. I try to do everything I can to remove any suspicion by either side. With the options available now, there are few reasons to have to totally trust if someone is taking more than their share.

Some sites will let you do a revenue split. Someone once told me that you can get a script to get Paypal to do this. Merchant accounts can also do this. Something to research

The RAP (Rapid Action Profits) program by Sid Hale who visits here occasionally, will do that. It is rarely mentioned these days, but when it is, it is always with positive comments. It works with a one time payment and is probably the cheapest if you are going to be doing any volume.

It hooks up with PayPal and for a 50 / 50 split, it will deposit alternate sales directly into the PayPal accounts involved. No one else touches the money. This makes taxes simple. Each person just reports the amount received.

I have done this exact setup in both Warrior Plus and JVZoo.

It has worked a treat both times.

I know Clickbank also has a JV contract option now also:

    Awesome help, people!

I'm going to go for a test-drive on JVzoo or Clickbank. I'm already using DAP, so switching over to rapid action profits might be a little too much of a hassle. Thanks for all the advice.
