Affiliate Expert Wanted!

Dear all,

I have a mini niche site, which has 5+ keywords ranked to first page of Google, and got around 150 visitors per month, really nice.

But, the big problem is, No Sales! Can anyone tell me the main problem?
Or, do you have any suggestions about how to set affiliate link?

Also, I build 3 affiliate links on 3 pictures in homepage, most traffic comes from Google, targeted.

      Work on your content. The Content of your site has to be convincing and atractive so that you can convert your viewers to customers.

    Hi there,

    First off, are the keywords "buyer" keywords.....do they have a buying intent?

    1.) Typically product name related keywords are the highest at converting...

    "product name" reviews
    "product name" review
    does "product name" work
    does "product name" really work
    where to buy "product name"
    buy "product name"
    "product name 1" versus "product name 2"
    "product name 1" vs "product name 2"

    ...that sort of thing.

    2.) Then if you do product reviews then make sure you add in testimonials - 3-5 scattered throughout the article. light blue background helps break up the article.

    I usually make the testimonials images to avoid duplicate content penalties from Google. Make sure you quote where the testimonial came from. Such as "Testimonial from ChrisJames taken from Amazon.com"

    3.) Make sure you add unbiased words such as:

    "supposedly"
    "apparently"
    "the company claims"
    "according to the product creator..."


    4.) Make sure you have a call to action at the top - just above the fold or after first or second paragraph.

    5.) Make sure you have a call to action at the botton.

    Call to action written in dark blue, extra large, bold text, CAPITAL letters.

    For example -

    "CLICK HERE FOR SPECIAL DEALS ON "PRODUCT NAME"

    6.) One banner on the right hand side widget.

    7.) Add a nice header or logo - try fiverr.com

    8.) simple wordpress theme - try thesis and add a theme skin

    9.) add related images to break up the article


    ..........

    Another thing you want to consider is how targeted are the keywords that are ranked on google to your offer. If the keywords that are ranked are not that targeted that will impact your conversions. Another thing is are these keywords buyer intent keywords or more info keywords.

    e.g. buy blue widgets (buy keyword)
    how blue widgets work (info keyword)

      To be honest you're only getting 150 visitors a month.

      Most sites have a bounce rate of around 70 percent unless you know what you're doing.

      So you're only keeping 45 visitors from the 150.

      So to be honest you really need more traffic.
