Need a recommendation for a good and simple market research tutorial

Hello,

I've already done some market research for about 4 differents niches that I'm interested in to figure out which one would be better but I still considered myself a noob about it. I have learned most of the things I know doing some research on the net and watching some videos about it on youtube.

Right now I'm able to do some decent search with the google keyword tool but I would like to know more about market research for a new website and I would like to find a decent and simple tutorial about the subject.

Do you have any recommendations for me?

Thank you!

Check out the war room. Tons of free niche research guides there.

Since you are not a War Room member, as of yet, I would like to suggest that you become a member and/or check out the WSO area. You're bound to find a slew of WSOs on niche marketing and how to select a niche or market.

I'm new here and I have just checked the War Room and it's 37$ to subscribe...

I do not know if it is worth it for me. Is it possible to get a trial or some kind of preview for me to decide?

Market research in what context and for what kind of monetization?

The Google Keyword Tool is a joke and only serves Google and not the marketer. It's fine for a starting point, but you need more powerful keyword tools.

In essence, what are you researching for? If you're trying to figure out which niche would probably be best suited for you, you'll want to check out who is advertising in that niche. How are they reaching their audience?

Are there any competitor's? Personally, I don't like jumping into niches that have zero competition (unless it's a product that has inelastic demand). I like to see healthy competition and I also like to see a niche that has plenty of products and services that I can promote and/or improve on.

Don't have it spoon fed to you, just do a Google search "how to do market research on the internet" You have the cornucopia of information right at your fingertips.

Basically, I want to evaluate the true potential of each of the niches I'm interested in and would like to be able to size correctly the amount and the strength of the competition I would face.

Also, the quantity of products available that I could promote around the niche is obv. important for me.

No easy answer...Where is the niche now, is a growing niche, what are the demograpics and psychographics of the people in the niche..answer these questions and WHAT products to promote are obvious.
