How much would it cost to outsource premium quality PLR creation?

Hi everyone,

I'm interested in entering the PLR creation niche for reasons I will go into another time.

I was thinking of getting started by writing my own products to save money, but then I thought "nah, let's go pro from day 1".

So what would it approx cost me to outsource a really top quality product creation? By 'top quality' I mean something you would personally stand by and be proud to send to your mother and be willing to put it on your own primary website.

Combined estimates for the following deliverables please:

1. Free report
2. Main ebook
3. Sales page and squeeze page design, HTML & copy (for mini site)
4. Graphic design

No need to include estimate for WSO sales page copy or anything like that - just the stuff that my customer will download.

TIA
Hamza

    Hamza,

Let me based my estimates from the series of e-books and reports I have outsourced to my writers on a regular basis.

    1. Free report ($100 to $200 - This is normally a 10 to 15-page report that leads to readers to buy the main e-book. Images are inclusive.)
    2. Main ebook ($400 to $500 - This is around 40 to 50 pages. Images are inclusive.)
    3. Sales page HTML & copy (I think you're referring to a squeeze page? If so, I outsource it for $300 to $500).
    4. Graphic design (What do you mean graphic design? This is usually included to the squeeze page package).

Regularly, I invest $1,000 to $1,200 to just one specific one-man-show writer to handle all these. And, I make them busy all the time.

Have you started spotting one good writer and squeeze page designer in this forum?

If you wanted premium top quality would you not outsource to a different guy each time who is an expert in the subject matter of that particular PLR? Or are you happy with a really good writer being able to do some research and blag it?

Haven't started looking for writers, but my idea was to search odesk, elance, PPH etc by subject keyword for experienced guys.

Hamza, I think I'm just "lucky" enough to have found a go-to writer who can write with my voice (not with my grammar for sure, ha, ha!).
If I were a professional writer, OMG, I am sure I'll just stick in one area and I won't write in other areas. I don't have a good knack in writing myself.

Plus, it may cost me double, if not triple, if I will literally hire a person who has as professional background about the topic. Imagine whom will I hire if my articles, ebooks and reports are about immigration or law. Oh my, I'll never pay an attorney for the price he wants just to get him write me an article or a 100-page report.

As far as deadline is concerned, I can't complain. We both meet halfway. They stay in their commitment. I am praying it'll always be like that.

It would depend on the topic involved.

It's been my experience that generally you pay premium prices for premium products and services.

What you're asking is equivalent to saying "How much does a car cost?"

My response would be, "How much can you afford?"

Cost is always relative and premium quality commands something more than "good quality," "average quality," or of course "poor quality."

Set your budget and then go do your research with your outer limit established.

I will tell you one thing . . . your reputation will be built upon the quality you offer. A few poor quality products can kill your IM career very quickly.

On the other hand, one exceptional product (even if it's your first) can begin the ball rolling to a stellar reputation of new opportunities opening up quickly.

So give the very best that you're got.

      Good luck to you,

      Steve

Thanks Steve, I agree that first impressions count which is why I would like to start off product 1, day 1 with as high quality product as possible.

As for how much the car would cost... I want to release products that would make my mum proud, and I'm sure she would be happier to see me drive a BMW than a Dacia Duster (no offence to any Romanians)

As long as I see a possible eventual return (and I certainly expect to make a loss for the first couple of launches) I don't mind coughing up for the Beemer.

So - how much for that BMW PLR?

    Hi Hamza,

I am a writer but I would need a lot more info from you before I could quote you rates.
For example, how many words in your articles or ebooks?

I don't do website or graphic design and I am not a copywriter, but as others have suggested, you might be better off if you can split the workload, depending on your budget. If you want prices, please me me the extra info.
