Alright, everyone-- I need help, looking for someone to mentor me

you already have a site and it actually already gets traffic. I personally would add more images to the site and make it visually more attractive! I didnt see one DOG on your site <---

Then..you might consider replacing your adsense ads (whats your adsense income?) w/ banners for clickbank dog-training articles? And/Or banners for your own book.

And i would SEO the *** out of the site..that it, hire and get the WSOs here to get backlinks, articles...and distribute your link/articles wherever you can.

Since you already HAVE a site and also content and you're actually a pro in that niche (i assume) i think you already did the biggest steps..now you just have to spread the word and work on SEO and monetizing better.

Also...i think you said you already have your own product....so the rest is probably only "cosmetics" and marketing...consider getting a designer which makes a cover and banners for the book?

You can also go on related forums and then buy banner space...for your site and/or for your book.

What about setting it up with something like clickbank or paydotcom? Could be some good affiliate traffic. Course, better make sure you sales page converts.

Or search out Joint Ventures? Sure plenty of Warriors in that niche or close.

I agree with what george said. You seriously need some good images added to that site. Also you need to cut the load time down just a bit. It took about 15-20 seconds to load your entire page before I got your pop up subscribe form. To adding graphics first make a good heading graphic to start with. This will atleast keep them at your site a little longer. Then say every third post to that blog type format add in a few images to support the training.

Talk to a local dog training show and ask them if they will allow you to sit in and take pictures of there training methodes. Most will not have a problem with this. Even if they do just tell them you are thinking of taking your dog there and looking for the best posible place before you commit.

Visual apeal is just as important to customers as the actual imput on your site. You want people to go to there friends and say hey your looking for this right. Well go here this is the place I went through. If they liked the service as well as the aperance they are more likley to send there friends. Free advertising.

I don't think you should be paying anyone at the moment. There is so much free info out there I think you should be able to have the basics down no problems. Once you've hit a critical point then I'd consider forking over the cash.

Here are your options to generate traffic...

1. Spend up to $100 on PPC campaign to uncover the keywords that really convert for your sales page and offer (This is optional - spending the money on Adwords will give you a better understanding of high ROI keywords fast, that way you can target your SEO toward those keywords)

2. Identiy the keywords you want to target and generate 1 article and 1 blog post each day optimized around those keywords

3. Start an affiliate program - get out there and actively contact potential affiliate partners...it will take to long to have them find you (at least in the beginning). THere is a process that can make this much more effective - start by offering them a review copy of your product.

Really - JV's/affiliates and your blog are two excellent ways to drive lots of relevant traffic to your sales site.
