How to add a custom search box on Google search engine for a website?

For example : while we search for newyork times on Google search the result displays nytimes.com with a custom search box for nytimes on its search results with a search button named Search nytimes.com - How to do it?

    I might be wrong so I apologise in advance if I am but I believe that's something Google does to sites which it knows people will want to search on.

    I don't think you can add it yourself.

    Like I said, I remember reading something about this a long time ago so I might be totally wrong here.
