Fiverr. Great way to make money!

You may or may not have heard of the website "Fiverr". It is basically a website where you can offer your service for £5.

I haven't been using it for that long but I've already had an order.

I personally think it's a great website. When you get your first order I would put as much effort into it as possible. This way the person you sold to will give a high rating. High ratings mean more views on your offer, therefore more orders which equal more money!

Thanks for reading and good luck!

Be nice Warriors, remember what you were like when you first joined?

Congratulations on your success by the way @raredesigns! Keep it up, as you said, the more positive ratings you get, the more likely you are to sell!

Making money on fiverr is very small you need to have more orders to increase amount and I hire some people on it to do online jobs but no more quality they provided. I think with $5 It's difficult to find a good freelancer

That's why they have the sell feature where you can charge more than $5.

If you can find something that you can actually make a decent profit on fiverr can be awesome, it's just finding that thing!

I do use it to buy bits and bobs occasionally.

    You mean $5 not £5

£5 would convert into $7.84 US at the time of this posting.

The post refers to paying for a Gig. Not earning. Thus it's $5.

But yeah, In the end a seller earns $4.

    Raredesigns,

If you're after a quick way to make a few bucks and get your feet wet with Internet marketing, Fiverr can give you a start.

I will tell you, however, that the big earners in online marketing don't do gigs that make them $4 a shot. Their time is too valuable.

You will soon learn that leverage and "higher ticket" sales account for the success of most full time earners.

Good luck to you as you begin your journey.

It's an external search engine dependant upon popularity and keyword frequency where results of other websites will arise.

If I owned a website / forum, I'd be doing my utmost to contain traffic, so the more information within, the better!

For how long you did not use your account? I think fiverr marked those gigs as inactive who's creator does not login for a long time.:confused:

BTW, good to know about your first order.

ya i outsource a lot on fiverr so if you have a good service you can definitely get a lot of business. One of the service providers I use often always has over 100 pending orders in his queue.

if you are just getting your teeth wet in the online money game, Fiverr offers you a a great way to get started. They send decent traffic your way and allow you concentrate on ways to sell a service. I understand the excitement of getting your first order. But there is a lot of work that still needs to be done. Use the search tab to weed out Fiverr topics on WF. Hang out in the Fiverr forum to boost your knowledge base. Cheers!

Basically, you get $3.92 per gig. Also, they make me wait twenty days to get my money. To up sell you need to be level two star and you start out at level zero. Good luck to you. Oh by the way, it is a good idea to have several different gigs in one area.

First I want to say congrats, if you just discovered fiverr you're obviously still fairly new, and to have made money already puts you ahead of a lot of people online...

Fiverr is a great place to make some extra money, and that money making is multidimensional, there is a lot more to fiverr than meets the eye...

Fiverr is a favorite of mine. I am getting more gigs. Problem is that you need to be on your computer 24/7 because you are rated by how long it takes you to respond to messages. Therefore you need to always keep on checking for new gigs. Well, that can be a pain. Plan to go on a vacation and that means I have to pause my gigs.

I guess you would know if you used a new function we have here in the forum called "Search".

This function is amazing, if you typed the word fiverr, you will be shocked with the results that you will get.

I guess what I am trying to say here, please search the forum before start posting, specially when you talk about a topic that is discussed at least twice in the main forum

    and

    Welcome to the forum

It is a decent place to make money, but perhaps not as straightforward with the recent changes and the new V2 platform.

If you want to get to a decent level then, you should consider the following approach :-

(i)Only carry out tasks that you comfortable with and preferably take less than half an hour.
(ii)Make sure your title and description are catchy and read well for viewers.
(ii)Get a video done for your gig(s), as fiverr prefer a visual aspect.
(iii)Ask fiverr admin to promote or even feature your gig.

You should get a few orders from this and it's up to you what you do from there. Nearly half of my orders are repeat customers, so if you do a good job then, they'll return and also tell others about your service(s).

Guys are you insane ? Spending half an hour for $4 that aren`t even residual ? promoting your gig so your profit will get to $3 if you count the promotion price ? Not really a road to 1 million $ if you ask me.. don`t think low, think high, please warriors..
