Found A Great Niche - Need Advice Please

Hi,

I have found a great microniche with lots of buyers and keywords that will be easy to rank for. The problem i have is that this microniche has microsubniches with in it.

let me explain...

Lets suppose the microniche is widget upgrades... the microsubniches are the different types of upgrades. Like

glowing widgets
noisy widgets
spinning widgets
etc

Now each of these upgrades have numerous differnt types of makes and models. so the question i need answered is... do i build a site based around the whole widget upgrade niche or do i laser target the microsubniches and build individual sites around those?

They get a lot of searches :-)

    Why not service all areas with a web site with multiple pages to cover each one?

    Incidentally, lots of searches does not necessarily mean lots of buyers.

    You do say, though, that there are lots of buyers so why don't you start out catering for them?

      Assuming the microniches are

      "glowing widget upgrades"
      "noisy widget upgrades"

      etc

      I'd make one site.

      As you build it out, attacking one micro niche and one set of keywords at a time, you'll be building links, developing authority, and strengthening your domain, all things that will pay dividends when it comes time to attack a new sub niche...

      In other words, as you build, the more leverage you'll get as a result of your efforts in the previous micro niche, as opposed to building them all separately on different domains and resetting your authority and differential advantage to ZERO each time!

      Strategy wise you could build categories...

      WidgetUpgrades.com/Noisy-Widget-Upgrades/Noisy-Widget-Upgrade-keyword
      WidgetUpgrades.com/glowing-widget-upgrades/glowing-widget-keyword-etc

      But that's just one way.
