What would you do with a locked domain?

I have a domain that I've just bought at godaddy auction and because I've just bought it its transfer is locked until october 2013 but I want to sell it.
what can I do? should I tranfer my godaddy account to the buyer or there is an option to unlock it? I don't want to wait until october

    I think the best thing you can do is to check the FAQ section of your domain provider and see if they have any 'kb article' on how to unlock locked domains. If there's no option other than waiting, might as well find some worthy things you can monetize for the meantime while waiting until October 2003. That'll just two months from now, anyway.

    But who knows? Perhaps, one of our fellow Warriors experienced this already and be able to give the answer you need.

    You can just push it to the new owner. They need to create an account at Godaddy and then you push it to them. Google push domain Godaddy if you want more instructions on how to do that.

        Yes. You can push it a minute after you buy it. You just can't transfer out of the registrar for 2 months.
