Can one assume that consumer products prices at Amazon and Ebay equal the best price of a product available on product comparison web sites , like smarter com. ?

    I doubt you could assume that for eBay as the listings are by individual sellers. In fact, there are some who buy low at a site like Amazon and sell high at eBay, as many buyers don't know to compare prices and still perceive eBay as the place to find bargains.

    Is it maybe product dependent ? I just made few checks on Camera product and Amazon UK has higher prices than Ebay UK which has higher price than specialized reseller sites ....
