Ezine Article Resource Box Link Madness!

I am using the WYSIWYG editor on ezines, and I can't get anchor text to work with a live link in my author's resource box at the bottom of the article. When I use it, it simply puts the web address into the main body of my text, and I am hopeless with coding when it comes to creating a link.

Is there a code you can use to get anchor text live links in your author resource box, or am I doing something horribly wrong? Has anyone else come across this. I've never had this problem before with ezines, so it must be something I am doing wrong.

Just use a good, old-fashioned HTML tag, dude.

For anchor text, it'll look like this:

    <a href="www.theactuallink.com">Your Anchor Text Here</a>

Try that and see if it works for ya.

    Later!

        No problem.

Some times you have to go to the basics.

That, and that's how I create my anchor text links for my resource boxes.

Not knowing coding does not make you an idiot at all.

That little piece of code will come in very handy so until you memorize it you should keep it in a note pad file so you can copy, paste, and insert the links whenever you need to.

          That's what I did anyway.

Hi endgame - just to add to that...............
I hope you didnt put a link to anything other than a top level domain that you won?
Ezine articles are very strict on this and it will only delay the process of having your article published!
If you need to.......log in and edit your resource box and/or article for innapropriate links!
They do not accept any affiliate links but wont tell you about unacceptable links until the end of the editors process.........and then it will go back to the begiining of the queue! I have learnt alot about innapropriate linking lately! (bummer dude!)
