Want To Be A Product Creator Online?

A lot of people want to make money online and become product creators, but de-motivate themselves by procrastinating and not taking action. If you want to really make money online, you need a create a product with your name on it. You want to establish yourself as a unique source for helpful information.

The only way to get a product that is truly the product of your own mind without anybody else having much input is by doing it yourself. It is also the option that requires the most work on your part, and that is why a lot of people run from it. The reality is that you do not want to be 100 percent dependent on others for your products.

Bear it in mind that if you create a product yourself, it is definitely yours. You have proven to yourself that you can do it, which is a powerful way of boosting your overall confidence.

So the question is how do you get it done? It is really easy. Let us look at 5 simple techniques to develop product ideas:

1. Survey your resell rights materials to see what ideas come to mind: Do not copy the products to create "a me" too version, but look at what other people are offering to get ideas.

2. Investigate how various resell rights packages present their components: This will help you imagine how you might create your own component.

3. Sketch out the components of your product: Do this before you have actually created them. This will give you a basic roadmap for what you will need to create.

4. Create your components: Start with the written material (such as ebooks), because that is often the hardest part for people who do not consider themselves writers.

It is also a basis for creating an audio version of your ebook, which gives you another component without much effort.

5. Set up your site to sell your product: This means creating your landing page, sales page, etc. It is recommended that you have different sites to sell different products. This is because it gives you more virtual real estate and keeps products and customers separate to make management and future marketing easier.

That is really it. The technical side of getting your product set up to sell is pretty much always the same. The only hard part is coming up with what product to create and then creating it. Becoming a product creator online is a sure way of creating wealth in the long run.

I believe this is one of the most important parts of product creation. I believe in sketching an outline that goes from getting the product idea to outlining the initial product to getting the product online. Once you know the bigger picture, and you see that the actual creating of the product is just a small part, then it doesn't seem so big.

I disagree with this. I never do the hard part first. This will only discourage your to go farther if you aren't liking what you are doing. I believe we should start with what we enjoy doing.

For example, if you like creating videos then start with that then get it translated and turn it into an e-book with a little editing. I go a little more in-depth with this concept in my WSO.

Afterall the idea of becoming an internet marketer is to enjoy what we do and to make lots of money doing it. Otherwise it just turns into another job that we struggle with.

Other than that, thank you for a great post.

The challenge with your approach is that 95% of info product don't sell - and never will because they are not based on topics with high commercial appeal, do a terrible job of positioning themselves within their niche and do not offer any unique value to make them stand out.

RR and PLR are often among the worst, so you don't want to be modelling your business after these - unless you also want to create RR and PLR products.

A much better way is to research your market for top selling information products - what is already attracting a hoard of customers? Which one's have great up-market potential? Which topics have staying power?

Then, you can design your entry and postioning wtihin that marketplace.

For example, you see a top selling ebook on Clickbank about learning guitar - but it is a $27 ebook - how can you position differently?

Put together a training DVD instructional series targeting the same desire - but adding more value by showing them how to play - and charge $67 for it - now not only are you making 3X the profit, you have set yourself aside from the competition AND provided a very attractive commission opportunity for potential affiliates who have been settling for 50% of $27. Do you think they will market your product for you - ABSOLUTELY!

    What do you do next?

Outline your info product - this is critical to getting it done in the least amount of time. And best of all...outline it as if it were a course rather than just sitting down and trying to write a 100-page ebook from scratch.

Not only are courses of a higher perceived value, but they are simpler to develop and will lead to actionable steps that can lead your prospects to actually achieve an outcome (for which they will give you testimonials) so you can prove your system works leading to more and more sales.

Here's a peak at the first part of the 7-part program we've used to create dozens of top selling info product packages - it works for us and our clients:
