How do I do a Paypal Hyperlink?

I have tried all day to work it out and am stuck...I know how to create a button -ie buy now or add to cart BUT..

I want my other link to be hyperlink that I can add to my site without the button...The code is hidden on the buy now buttons so I am not sure what I need to do.

I was reading somewhere that a plain paypal hyperlink can be hijacked...how do I protect the link
#hyperlink #paypal

When you have created your button in PayPal, when you 'View Code' you are shown two types of code.

One is called the 'Website' code. This is placed in a webpage and adds the PayPal button to the page.

The other is called 'Email code'. This is basically just a hyperlink that can be used in emails, etc. or as a text link on your webpage. If you type this link into your browser address bar, it will take you straight to your payment page on the PayPal website.

After creating your button, go to view code and from there you can choose from the options which code you want to add to your website.

You should see a box like the one below. This is the Web Code:-

You will notice at the top of the box that there are two tabs.
Click on the email tab and you should see something like this:-

If you cannot see this, you can type it out manually exactly like my email code, just remember to put the same number in (where I've put a red bar) as in your web code (but leave the inverted commas out this time).

      Hope this helps,

The link is "protected" in that the button code is hosted on the PayPal website. Nothing changes between the click and the paying. It is probably more "protected" than the PayPal button, since less information is disclosed.
