Is Clickbank Still Profitable? What About Article Marketing?

I earn major part of my online earning through Wordpress services & Some of my clients wants to earn online through affiliate marketing.

Should I Recommend them to go with Clickbank? Is clickbank still profitable these days....As it was in earlier days where an article blast and article submission in Ezinearticles were sufficient to earn more than $1000 per article...

Request all Clickbank Experts to give your views...?

Thanks,
Vikash

Yes, very much so. There are large numbers of people here making their full-time livings as ClickBank affiliates.

Yes, very much so. There are large (and actually increasing) numbers of people here making their full-time livings from article marketing.

That depends on their skills and/or learning abilities. Like everything, it's a learning-curve, but potentially a very profitable and reliable one indeed, when people get it right (which, of course, only a minority ever does - just like everything else in internet marketing, and probably in "self-employment" too?).

Not since I've been online, anyway. Possibly before that (though I'm not quite sure I believe even that, really). But the idea of (mis)using an article directory to get traffic is stone dead. (Not that that's part of "article marketing" anyway, of course: for all the reasons explained in this post, the last thing an article marketer would want would be for potential customers to find an article directory copy of an article: that's not who they're submitted there for at all. The long-distant idea of getting potential customer traffic through article directories was only ever based on a misunderstanding, anyway ).

This is what I do, if it helps (and it's gradually become a little easier, over the last year or two) ... http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5721774

Yes Clickbank is still good and so is article marketing. Yes things are a bit different but as with everything the real fundamentals never change. You just have to move with the time and innovate.

E.g. Ezinearticles don't rank as much any more but some sites that never even existed when Ezine was king now ranks. Move with the times and Innovate.

Clickbank is definitely profitable. It's just another product. A product that you create should receive as much skepticism as a Clickbank product (probably even more, because some Clickbank products have proven to sell very easily and make alot of people money).

Article marketing? ..... dont dump a barrage of articles to the article directories and expect to receive hundreds of visitors back to your site by the end of the week. You're lucky if you get 2 clicks a day back to your site... all while you drive thousands of visitors to their sites and build up their business.

      Vikash,

Consider recommending Turn Words Into Traffic to your affiliate marketing clients. It's available through Clickbank, and may provide you with additional backend profits as well as an excellent and very powerful marketing idea in its own right for yourself.

This time-tested marketing model is article marketing at its finest, before being eviscerated by Google SEO "gurus" in recent years. Affiliates using these fundamentally sound and proven techniques are making fortunes with not only Clickbank, but other affiliate networks as well.

Clickbank is still profitable. I do not like them because they make you sign up for another account if you forgot your password which I did. They do this so they cover you under the new tos of five sales and two payment processors to withdraw your money. So I made five sales quick and ran.

Article marketing is very valuable but not in the old sense. If you do articles most will tell you to put them on your site your own site I will not. Unless your working a niche blog you need them for.

Now squidoo and hubpages ect has changed the rules. You can still use sites like blogger and wordpress though to capitalize on products. You have to make sure you know there tos but remember they are already the top leading sites on the web so your seo is already done for you on the website. Just pick keywords that are money makers and post articles to your free reports and then sell them.

I use jvzoo for the most part now. I still have clickbank and amazon sites up but I don't work those two very much. I work jvzoo and warriorplus and implement with ebay, kolimbo and avangate and a few others.

    Hi,
Clickbank is still profitable as long as you choose the right offer! This is very important, then you can go all out on article marketing and paid advertising.

It depends what type of business they have established online already. If they are starting from scratch, building a business around someone else's Clickbank product may not be the best route to go, especially if they are new to internet marketing.

However, if they have an established blog in say the health and fitness niche and find a product on Clickbank that they believe fits with their content and business, then sure why not.

The question isn't whether Clickbank is still profitable.

It'll always be profitable - as long as product developers continue coming to the table with valuable solutions and converting sales letters/videos.

The people who are making a fantastic income selling Clickbank products understand how to leverage the right offers and drive traffic to them.

The information you've received here isn't enough to tell your clients, "Yeah, Clickbank is still viable. Now go out there and be somebody!"

You need to have the sense to know whether or not each individual client is up to the task - before recommending that somebody give Clickbank a go.

Here are a few questions to ask them:

Do you know how to choose the right offers?

How are you going to drive traffic? (A converting sales letter means nothing - if the right eyes aren't seeing it.)

Do you know how to build a list?

    For the last question...

Look at some of the gurus in ANY industry. Take Bob Proctor for instance. Here's a guy who makes a great deal of money selling his always growing, very responsive list affiliate offers. Everyday I get at least one or two solo ads from him. I've even purchased/participated in a few.

For you, setting them up with the ability to capture emails (in an effective way) will help you increase your own value.

    The point is...

There are a whole bunch of fabulous Clickbank products your clients could make gobs of money marketing as an affiliate.

    The real question is:

    Are they qualified?

    Or...

Do they need training, coaching and guidance?

I think it's great you're looking out for for them.

Just make sure you go the extra mile.

There's a lot of junk on Clickbank so you'll have to do the research & figure out which offers are decent. Example, don't send traffic to a CB vendor page, most are designed to capture the affiliate traffic/leads (email optin forms, popups, etc...). I've even seen Adsense on a CB vendor squeeze page once (fail).

Build your own sales page with just the facts about the product & send your traffic directly to the CB checkout. Before anyone chimes in about setting the CB cookie, Google it, it's not difficult.
