Sub Domain Question

What's the downsides of having a sub domain as a primary domain? And no I am not relying on Google for traffic generation.

    Is it a subdomain of your domain, or someone else's?

    If it is yours, there probably is no inherent downside other than possible confusion among your targets.

    If it is someone else's, I can't imagine why you would put the fate of your business into another party's hands like that without a really compelling reason.

    Can I ask, why are you thinking of doing that?

    I can't see what benefit you will get in doing so..

      I purchased Anik Singals IM Target software to create websites. I make up my on domain names create the site but dump the content on it and put my on it. I get a lot of traffic from Google Plus by promoting it there. This is an example of how it looks. About | Welcome To Worldwide Travel 24/7. I am uncomfortable with that imniches in the domain name. I even get some customers from craigslist.

    Longer URL to remember, I suppose, if you're trying to direct people to a specific place. People are used to remembering zyx.com rather than abc.xyz.com or something like that.
