Squidoo lens sandboxed in 3 days?

I am really confused here. I built a Squidoo lens and submitted it through Social Poster to about 20 websites. My site got indexed and I was getting great traffic for about 3 days. My rankings jumped from #300,000 to within the top #1000. Things were going great until today. I have gotten absolutely no traffic. I checked the search engines and my website is nowhere to be found anymore. Whats worse is someone else in Squidoo completely copied my title without hyphens, and now they have the top spots.

Has anyone had this happen to them before? Is there anything I can do?

Neil,

Don't worry about it...

My experience with Squidoo is that your lens will get sandboxed a couple
of times a month, but it always comes back in a day or 2 with a ranking
of higher than where it started.

Make sure that you use the fact that you got sandboxed to your advantage
and work even harder adding content and adding backlinks.

My website is still up there it just isn't showing up in the search engines anymore. Would that be from Squidoo or Google?

  Sometimes Squidoo lens can get kick out of Google after getting good ranking initially. I have experienced this before and what I did the last time is to get more backlinks and traffic to my Squidoo lens... after sometime, it should be back there. =)

  Should I stop with the social bookmarking then and build backlinks another way? I am a little nervous now of using Social Poster if you can get sandboxed so easily.

  Neil, I recommend you to not put all your eggs in one basket. Social bookmarking sites work well, but you should use all marketing methods, like writing articles, blogging, list building, etc.

  Don't worry about it to much, getting sandboxed is a common occurrence, it'll come back eventually. Keep up with the social bookmarking just get links from other places too.

  Hey Neil, Mixing it up is a good idea but don't get gun shy over being punked. Do the same submittal again along with a little this a little that and continue to repeat it. Looks like your on to something good so don't abandon it. Good Pluck
