So I am thinking about creating an amazon affiliate website and I was wondering how you would do this.

Would you use wordpress site, a website designer like wiix, code the site your self, use a HTML template?

What would you do?

Wordpress is so easy to set up, and there are so many really great plugins available for free... I couldn't see using anything else.

I would find something that pays more than the 4 percent and a whooping 6 if you get 7 sales.

I like the way you think!

To the topic, though, I'd stick with Wordpress. It's easy and has a ton of great plugins that'll help you build/maintain your site.

FWIW I agree with Hustlinsmoke - it's a lot of work for little reward with those sort of commissions. There's always going to be exceptions to the rule (i.e. those that target high end goods) but 90% people in IM struggle anyway. Why make it harder on yourself by actively going for something that pays out single figure commissions?

You do know if you sell 1 million a year your only getting 40,000 a year.

Did you know if you sell for jvzoo or warriorplus pick products that pay 100 percent then you sell 1 million a year, guess what you get.

Now I will say this jvzoo and warriorplus does not have products for the most part you want to keep up but avangate does and kolimbo and commission junction do.

Another vote for WordPress. You already have everything there and it's really good for beginners since it's an easy platform.
