Amazon Affiliate Marketing - Where do I go from here?

Ok, I have one site up and running and another in development. I keep running into confusion on driving traffic. Everytime I think I got it figured out.....well I don't.

My developer advised me not to use a link building software directly to the sites as they build to many links to fast. SEO is a little pricy for sites expected to earn $100 or less per month.

How about 1 time link building services? I had planned to add more articles to each site on a monthly basis but I dont think that is enough. Any way, any advice from experienced marketers would greatly be appreciated.

I am trying to stay disciplined as so many of you have recommended and not jump from different types of IM till I get this one figured out.

If you can find a good one in the classifieds here that doesn't spam links only gets the highest relevant links and uses articles with it. I wouldn't go over 20 links though to start.
Cost is about 25 bucks for that.

keep adding content and then look for blogs related to your niche and then comment... :-)

thats basic... the only person you can trust is youeself...

I do all of it myself and outsource all of the other monkey work :-)

Start by blog commenting. Use fiverr and when you start making a decent income, you can outsource easily. One time link building isn't that good unless it's permanent one way links and for that, there are lot of packages offered. It's a little pricey though as you said.

First figure out if your niche has the potential for success. Are you making some sales already? Are you getting long tail traffic?

If yes, then my suggestion would be to write more content and do a bit of manual blog commenting on relevant blogs
