Alexa Rank to Traffic Estimation Formula

Anybody have some idea how we can convert alexa Rank to estimate the daily visitors of a website. previous we can easily do this by Alexa Site Reach percentage but alexa reach is no more available. previous i am using this forumula

$visitors = (200000000*$reach)/100

how can we estimate now with alexa rank?

    No; nobody has an idea about how to do that (including the people who think they have an idea about how to do that), because it isn't actually possible to do that.     You can't. It's just a joke. The only way to monitor traffic is through a site's server logs.

    The last time I looked at my "Alexa rankings", I checked out two of my sites. One, which is a private blog only really for my rather widespread family and gets almost no traffic at all, had a really low-numbered "Alexa ranking" apparently signifying that it "gets enormous traffic" (but not according to its server logs!), and the other, which genuinely gets so much traffic, in floods, that I have to have special hosting for it, is apparently nowhere to be seen.

    It really is as unreliable as that.

    But when you look at what it's actually capable of measuring, that's not a great surprise, is it?

      Well, here (Alexa Rank ? A Thorough Examination :: netberry.co.uk) is described a way to make a traffic estimation based on the alexa rank. Basically, the author has offered an exponential function, not linear or polynomial.

      There is also a web service which aggregated alexa ranks + real data and made the calculations: Alexa Traffic Rank - history for 6 years

      I checked it, and for 80% of the websites the results are very satisfying. Still, there is 20% of (possibly, manipulated by webmasters) incorrect data (the estimated traffic is much higher than in reality)

    As far as I know the Alexa count only the visitor, who have the toolbar of Alexa on his browser. If one has no alexa toolbar in this browser, he will not be counted by the alexa. So how will you be able to get the total number of visitor? Thanks.

      Obviously, if your site is visited by one user only - alexa does not help.
      But we are talking about LOTS of people, and here is where statistics rules.

      i.e:
      warriorforum.com traffic estimation based on Alexa ranking history

      Statistics for warriorforum.com website: estimated summary traffic is 28 Million visits per month, estimated number of visits from the desktop computers - 13 Million sessions. Alexa rank for December 01, 2015 is 1670
