High-Paying Keyword Ads On Sales Pages... Comments/Opinions/Thoughts?

Ok...

Now what I want to do might sounds not good
but there is some reasoning behind it, so I want
you to read it and see what you think:

I am about to put up another product... now this product
on Google Adwords pays alright, so what I am thinking of
doing (since not every visitor buys) is to put some Adwords
ads on the sales letter (trying to hide them of course) so...

I want to know what you think or have you done this before?

The thing is, I know I am going to get lots of search engine
attention and this may be a way to capitalize on it a bit more!

You have to look at what pays better:
    1. Your product
    2. The adwords
    3. A combination of both
Only testing will provide you with the right answer.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

My thinking is that you need to concentrate on a single form of monetization for a site for the greatest chance of success. In most cases you'll find that you make less money when you give visitors too many choices.

If you want to grow an army of affiliates, we sure do not like it when the vendor profit from our leads without we getting anything back.

I never promote products with adsense on it, unless the product is a killer killer.

      Hi,

No... at this time there will not be affiliates promoting it, if
I did decide to have affiliates they would come off, or the
affiliates would have a totally seperate page to promote!

Also... I do understand to you guys saying have one
or the other, but both might work out ok... perhaps.

  • Creating visitor confusion doesn't increase profits. Pick one or the other.

I can't imagine a scenario in which I would ever put AdSense ads on a sales page.

After the sale is one thing, before the sale is totally another. Your sales page should almost always be singular in purpose.

      But not everyone will buy...

Say they look over the page and know the price and are about
to click out, at least there may come a click out of it!

Am I totally wrong here or what?

I know the click won't be nowhere near the sale, but it
is additional revenue... and a high-ish-paying keyword.

How about implementing a free something. You then get your subscribers on an opt - in list and can send them to your adsense optimized blogs for free tips on the thing they are looking for.
