How to make a sales page like that?

Hey guys,

I don't want to get in trouble so I wont post any links but I have a question about sales pages.

You all have seen those really cool ones with great graphics that just look amazing. They all seem to be one big image too.

Where would I have something like that made?? I see them all the time now and I love the way they look

Best Regards,

David

Most sales pages today are based on Wordpress blog back-end, some type of premium theme such as OptimizePress, WooThemes, Thesis, etc...and then some custom graphics (lots of people here on Warriorforum to choose from).

Honestly though, more important is the market you choose, USP and copywriting/script writing (if video sales page) than what it looks like.

The most important part is by far what is says. You might stare at the pretty girl but you take home the one that says yes.
And that was just one word!

There's lots of easy ways to make sales pages.

You can use optimize press, which is a theme.

Or you can use instabuilder, which is a plugin,

or you can try this, to make those "single picture" type sales pages, it looks pretty sweet, and seems flexible enough, and doesn't cost too much:

        Instant Infographics Presence
        (no aff)
But like others have said, all the graphics and bells and whistles are for naught if your sales content (the actual text) isn't persuasive or compelling, or if your product is junk.

Thank you so much this is EXACTLY what I was looking for!

And I do realize that the content is what really matter but as long as I have some good content why not make it look nice while I'm at it

        Not sure about that example.

You'd take home the pretty girl if she let you, right.

The trouble with alot of bought solutions is that you still require some degree of creative skill to make something look 'right'. ie. You'll inevitably waste valuable time fancying it all up only to end up with something that looks like a dogs breakfast to the average eye.

Either delegate it to professionals or keep it simple and see what converts best for whatever offer/service you have.

You'd basically hire a designer to design your salespage. This would include not only the skin, but also formatting the salescopy and adding graphical elements to enhance the salescopy.

If you just use the other things mentioned in this thread, your site will be the same looking as all the other sites. The wordpress themes mentioned are great, and they are fast, but they do not allow much room for design. You are very limited to what your site will look like in the end.

So, basically you would use one of those themes, then also have to hire a designer to tweak that theme for you with graphics and format your salescopy and add visual graphical enhancements to your salescopy/salespage.

I know this because it's what I do.

There is no quick way to get a great looking salespage, nor have I seen or found a great product that out of the box gives you a uniquely designed salespage that stands apart from others.

      Here are a few suggestions.

      1. For custom landing page design I would suggest Matt Stennings Killerdesign Team. I have yet to see anyone meet their artistic styling.

      2. Plugins - Right now Authority Pro 3 is the top leader in design, quality and WP Theme friendly.

      3. The Marketing Graphics Toolkit is still a favorite among IMers for DIY. It is constantly being updated with new graphic modules.

I use OptimizePress for my squeeze pages (I just got it though so still learning). This stuff is interesting but it does have a learning curve. CPM, CPA, CPL, traffic, the wordpress stuff isn't so difficult, but the key thing is being able to absorb and listen and not jump to buying tons of products. I think I did that when I first started... you can do this though! Just keep working at it!
