Default Couple of quick questions for Ezine Articles pros

Hello

The first question is this. I was creating a system on how to use my articles, and initially I was going to submit the fresh article to Ezine then wait till its approved then submit elsewhere. However, I was thinking today I would like to put the articles on my site first and then Ezine. Is this ok in ezines eyes will they still publish it if its somewhere else?
I just figured if it was on my site first then it would be better in googles eyes and also copyright wise.
Any comments on doing it this way instead of just putting it on Ezine?

The other question is this.

When you promote a site in Ezine articles, do they look down on you having your link go directly to a affiliate page, or do they look favourably on your link being a artcile site/blog etc. (a useful resource) or they dont care where the link gos to?

thanks a lot guys

regards

justin

You can link directly to an affiliate link as long as you are using a domain to do so. It would have to be a www.domain.com and not a link.domain.com or domain.com/link. Other than that you can link directly to cpa offers, affiliate links, etc.

I didn't see anything about posting content you have already posted to your blog, but I would suggest not doing that. I would post to ezine, then your blog, then other places.

Here is their editorial guidelines to answer any other questions you might have...

For maximum effect, making the article that you put on ezine unique is the best way. They have something in their submission guidelines about linking directly to affiliate sales pages (which is big nono in general).

have you considered dropping the links onto a pitch page, using it to build a list and drive traffic to the sales page after that, it can be a great way to increase long term income.

I always post to my own site first. I use a bunch of article directories and web 2.0 sites for promotion, but my first priority will always be to build my own assets. EZA will have no problem with taking an article that has already been published as long as it wasn't published by another author.

Hope that helps.

Respectfully,
Kevin
