It seems ALEXA beat me to it. Anyways...

      The right way?

      Here's one RIGHT way -
Offer something Valuable for free(ex:1st product) to gain trust of your "soon to be buyer". Next, you sell your second product at the "FIRST SET PRICE" a few days later for example...

Now, If your Buyer doesn't buy at your "first set price", then you control the VALUE of YOUR PRODUCT. Before dropping the Price with a follow up email or something, TELL YOUR BUYER why he/she needs to BUY YOUR PRODUCT or SERVICE, SELL YOURSELVES to SAVE Your VALUE.

I see A LOT of MARKETERS just DROP their VALUE like NOTHING. From a $99 product to an exit pop-up saying FREE! That is PATHETIC! Excuse my language.

Try to use the simple K.L.T formula.

    Know, Like, Trust.

Allow your subscribers to get to KNOW you first.

Stay in contact with them as much as you can so some of them will
    get to LIKE you.

Finally once you begin to provide them with great information they
    will start to TRUST you.

Then whenever you make a recommendation or try to sell your products
or services to them it will make your email marketing efforts far more
    successful.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards
    Gavin

This is a big key in email marketing! Getting people to know like and trust you can be the difference between thousands of dollars a month -- to just a few.

As far as email marketing there are only 3 simple steps involved doing this.

      1. Create a one page website (squeeze page) that will have a free offer on it. This can be a short e report or video -- just make sure is is of high value.

      2. Sign up for an auto responder ( I like Aweber ) and place an opt in form on your squeeze page to capture all your visitors email addresses.

      3. Lastly once that are on your list, provide them with massive value throwing in some entertainment (KLT Forumla) -- then occasionally promote products that will help your subscribers.

The great thing about email marketing, is once you have your emails written and you kind of set it and forget it and focus on traffic.

Also when someone buys a product from you, they are highly likely to keep buying from you in the future -- as long as you have their best interest at heart.

    A few tips:

Don't be scared to message your list. They signed up to you as they were interested in what you have to say right? While it varies from niche to niche, aim to message your list at least twice a week.

Provide them with good value. Don't just email filler content as people will stop opening.

Get a relevant email marketing tool. Aweber or Mailchimp have worked well for me.

Include a lightbox. Once I done this, I multiplied subscriber numbers numerous times.

If you need any more tips or clarification just ask.
