If you could give someone one method for advertising..

Hey warriors,
If you could give someone 1 method to increase exposure what would it be?
Let's say I'm launching a new website or a product, it doesn't matter.

Both paid and free methods are welcome

I would say:
Comments on blogs. (Free)
Facebook Ads. (Paid)

      Hire a model and body paint your ad on her.

      sorry, getting a little punchy here lol - then again, doing that then give her some lines (actually the cheesier / models can't act stereotypical the better), filming it, and uploading it to youtube then sharing it on facebook might have some viral traffic potential to it. or take a series of still pics of her in strange positions to best show off your "product" and having a fiverr turn it into a stop motion or some such..

      punchy or not.. i like that idea! :p

      In one part I agree with you because SEO is free but it takes time, sometimes pretty long time. Depends on niche and competition.
      I will use both, paid and free method but it depends on a budget also.

    YouTube. You make a video once and it keeps getting you traffic as long as it's up.

    Well depending on what this market is. Facebook is good.
    You could also locate some blogs that are reflective of your market,
    contacts the blog owner to be a guest blogger
    to blog about your product. That is one way to get good exposure.

    Offline: If your product is phyisical tangible then locate a trade show
    to exhibit your wonderous product.

    Sell on ebay perhaps and then follow up your buyers with a
    'Thank you for Purchasing' info article on best ways to use
    product with info on a supplementary product to
    follow on, basically some backend.

    Maybe if you have deep pockets, get the Oprah to do
    spotlight on your great product....these are just some ways you can use
    online/offline.

    Initially i would say PPC and Adwords... but i have to say that my 1 method would be solo ads.

    I would say it will be dependent on which market that you are in. But if I have to use one method, I will choose ONE paid traffic generation method and stick to it by testing until I get a winning campaign. I will choose PPC as it is targeted traffic.
