question on separate email addresses

I have some newbie questions concerning email addresses and niche websites.

Do use the same email address for all of them or do you have different ones for each niche? Could I use 1 email address for say 5 sites and then 1 email for the next five sites?

If you use one email for many sites, do you create one google analytics account for them? does google like that?

I have seem websites that are hub pages for niches. Looks like people are combining all of their niche sites back to one hub page. why do they do that and is that a good idea? I am guessing it creates backlinks?

Thanks

With regard to google analytics, I use the same account for all sites. And if you are using gmail you can point multiple emails to one email account.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

I pretty much use an email for each site. But I have also seen people who use 1 account for all there sites. It really depends on you and if you are good at managing multiple email accounts. I use only one google analytics account and have all my sites added.

For those creating a "hub" page for all there niches, yes that would give you some extra link juice if they are all linked together. But you would want to make sure that all the niches don't clash.

like if you are trying to brand yourself as an expert in herbal health products. Don't go linking that niche with something that contradicts that.

I set up a different email address on each site and have it forwarded to a 'catch all' email address. Most hosting companies will give you several such email addresses, sometimes called alias email addresses.
For my 'accounts' like paypal, cj, ebay, whathave use I use a separate email address. And I have what I call a 'junk email' address. This helps me keep really important email separate from email I don't need to look at.
Even if you feel you don't want to keep up with more than one account I strongly suggest to my clients/students (and friends and family); keep your personal email address separate from anything you do online. Any email address online eventually gets spidered and you will get unwanted email. With an alias I can dump it and use a different email address later.
    Good luck

I have an email that is either admin@site-domain.com or support@site-domain.com. IMHO, it just looks more professional. For Google Analytics, I combine them when necessary. For example, if I were setting up a hub w/ supporting sites I would have one Analytics acct that used the hub's admin or support email address - this is just my personal preference, it doesn't matter to Google.
