Why do you need a list, what exactly is it and how is it done?
Well first off building a list is the most important part of internet marketing. The reason you need a list is that your collecting names & emails from potential customers. This allows you eliminate the stress of constantly looking for customers day after day. Once your list is big enough you can simply send out an email of something your promoting and get sales.
1. You need an auto-responder service. Personally I will recommend Aweber or GetResponse.
2. You will need a capture page. The higher your page converts the better. This means if you sent 100 visitors to your page, what is the # of visitors that would enter their name & email.
3. You need to use both free and paid advertising techniques to get new subscribers daily. Here's some of the ways that I build my list
A. Buy solo ads - Someone with a list will send your capture page link to their list. A certain amount of those people will click and opt into your list.
B. Run FaceBook PPC ads - Personally I like to use a fan page and redirect traffic to the page and have them opt in directly on FB.
C. Join Mini-Events & Co-Host events. You share leads so they are not as valuable but you can get way more for less $. Many co-host events are $350 for 1,000 guaranteed subscribers coming from people's list. You get a lot of bang for you buck.
D. Free sources I use YouTube, SEO and organic search
