I would like to start selling some content packages to webmasters. I've never sold digital goods before, so I've been reading on the paypal and e-junkie sites. Now I'm completely confused as to what to do. If someone can explain this to me so I can understand it, I would be very very grateful. |

First you want to make sure that your Paypal status is at least "Premier". - So login to PayPal - Click "Merchant Services" from the main menu bar - Click "Buy Now Button" from center of the page - Fill in details; If you are selling digital downloads, you can skip Step 2 - In Step 3, Check option titled "Take customer to a specific page (URL) after successful checkout"; This is the page will your download will be accessable. -Viola! -If you have an autoresponder you can add your autoresponder email to your Paypal account so that you can build a mailing list of "paid-customers" Note: There is software out there that you install onto your website that will protect your downloads from being downloaded by people who want to sneak around w/o paying. Or if you want you can rename your download page and .ZIP file every day, but just make sure your rename change reflect in your PayPal button as soon as you change it. But overall if you are in this for the long haul, just buy the script and set it up. One of your goals should be centered around your website being as automated as possable so that you can focus on new projects. Just a thought. Best Regards ~Ross Vaughn |

Mate, Go for e-junkie and use "EASYE-JUNKIE" as the coupon code. You get 67 days free. Also when you have registered with e-junkie, just click on add product. and on 3rd step, you will find "UPLOAD PRODUCT FILE" BUTTON at the top. Then, just follow the on-screen instructions. Please PM me if you have any more doubts ![]() G'day, Akky |

I have FTP software, domain, and aweber account. I don't understand the steps involved here to get this done. If you don't have time to explain, feel free to point me at another resource. Much thanks, -Valorie | |

I love the download protection that I get from e-junkie but it does not seem to have helped my marketing methods any. As for their buy now buttons, I seem to get better results with the paypal buttons too ... not sure if that is simple name recognition or what but that has been my recent experience. Two of the first things I will be buying are affiliate software to set it up on my own site and download protection. Just my two cents. Hope it helps Apart from that, figure out what works, rinse and repeat Great job on getting started! |

The page you refer them to after a successful check out would be your thank you page with access to the download. Make certain you do not send them to the download page after they cancel. I almost made that mistake so I am mentioning it just in case. (This is the first time I have done my own marketing so while I have created products, I have never marketed them before and I do not have an autoresponder so I do not know about that question) A Viola is a musical instrument. I believe you meant Voila which is French. |

Hehehe An Editor's bane I suppose. I love it when I see someone write "WALA" though LOL In Tagalog it means "Nothing" and in Bicolano (Where I live in the Philippines) it means the direction to the left - sa wala - turn left or go left.

Another payment processor that offers download protection is FastSpring. They allow you to accept PayPal, credit cards, plus local options depending on where your customers are located. If you really want to use straight PayPal, then DLGuard is the way to go for protection on your products. Good luck!! |

I just recently signed up and started selling products through e-junkie. It was unbelievably simple! I just followed the wizards, and it worked like a charm. |

I also use e-junkie and Paypal at the moment but I'm going to move over to DLGuard once they implement an affiliate system into their product.
