Can a dental health website make money?

My friend who is a dentist wants to make a dental health website, which will be composed of articles about dental health awareness, example "how to maintain oral hygiene" or "bleeding gums management".These articles will be written in simple non technical language, which is intended for general public. Can he make money from this kind of website?if yes, please mention how...i mean through adsense, or affiliate marketing or CPA networks? In future he will progress towards adding more features and widgets to the website.Kindly answer. And i'm sorry if i sound stupid, because i'm really a newbie.Thanks...waiting for an answer...

Yes, you can make money by promoting affiliate product from Amazon, Clickbank and other. Simply write helpful and informative article then add a related affiliate product on bottom of the articles.

Definitely with adsense but you will need to learn the dos and don'ts.

Another alternative is finding related products from amazon, clickbank or search for dental affiliate program. You might have to resort to testing and experimenting if the conversion sucks despite driving a good amount of targeted traffic to your site daily.

Advisably, something related to dental and what people are very likely to buy online. Perhaps a review content plus video if you want to go affiliate way.

I'm sure he could monetize it with ads related to dentistry. He could probably promote affiliate and CPA offers of dental training courses or toothbrushes . Or he could try and build a list, and monetize that.

Is your friend the "Dentist" going to be doing this himself or hiring you to do the work for him? I ask because i don't see how a dentist will have time to do all this work?

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

thanks for the help but locate a dentist.com is a kind of dentists directory while my friend is planning a blog site(maybe he'll upgrade it further), in which articles and blogs about dental health issues will be there.

You could surely make money creating a website like that. Monetize it by promoting teeth whitening products etc.

If I were him I'd think about building a website that helps dental students learn how to become a dentist that patients trust and respect. I'm sure if he were to create products they could sell at a high price!

If your friend is a dentist, then yes, it's a good idea for them to write dentist-related site content. The niche is monetisable with adwords, but presumably your friend also wants to direct clients to his/her dental practice?

Any website or niche has the possibility to make some money. You just need to find affiliate programs that are related to dental health, and promote it within your website or blog's content, or even use their affiliate banner to your sidebar.

Absolutely! I have a dental health site that ranks on the first page of Google. Gets good traffic and it is one original page of content and some articles from EZA. The thing is, it's informative and helpful so it, in my opinion, ranks well and my ads get decent clicks. Definitely do that!

If he will launch a health website, he should be careful not to do anything online before consulting a lawyer, he can simply get into a trouble even for affiliate marketing. Not every site is allowed to promote a health product.

I worked for a while with a client ( doctor who launching a service online ) and he was consulting with his lawyer every step and every forum because of all the laws and regulations and how it various from one place to another yet, you are required to abide by all of them if you provide the service in these regions.

  • Big bucks in dental, I know out here densists are not doing cosmetic stuff like boxot and collagen injections....

But I definitely agree with above, there are a lot of hoops and regulations you want to make sure you know of with whatever the local board/overseeing agency is in your area.

Do some keyword research in that niche and analyze the competition to see how hard / easy it will be to get ranked and how much work is involved.

You could definitely have a good business on your hands if you have some one who is writing unique good content on a regular basis. It could turn into an authority site on dental health. Which you can monetize with adsense and all kinds of offers and products.

Focus on highest quality articles on every post, not just generic information. You might consider writing (or publishing) about specific dental diseases not usually covered in other blogs. The more specific the information on the page, the easier it will be to get your Adsense ads to show ads targeted to content on the page. Another situation, you can integrate affiliate programs within each post or list as helpful resources, whichever works best for your blog.

One of the best ways for a successful dentist online promotion strategy is through promotion with articles and blogging.
You may do this by asking for assistance from blog writers to strengthen your advertising strategy. I am into affiliate marketing online for years.
The most imperative thing is to get targeted traffic to your website. It is a numbers diversion. The site need to be SEO optimized for ranked in the search engine, like Google or Yahoo. These stages will accumulate free activity in pursuits. One more thing I can say is you can go for paid traffics.

A dental website can bring potential leads for your dentist friend. Also, monetizing the site with adsense can be a great idea. As a dentist will be writing at the dental website, the site is bound to be popular I think.
