Sorting results on clickbank marketplace

Hello,

I would like to know how I can sort the results I get on the clickbank marketplace for a specific category (like health& fitness) in a way in which I see which products are sold the most?
Is it also possible to sort the results in a way in which I can see which programm has its best earning affiliates?

Is there anywhere a detailed description about what the different options, after which I can sort the results, mean?
https://accounts.clickbank.com/mkplS...LARITY&b1=1347

Kind regards
Frank

CBEngine.com does a lot of what you are asking about.

Agree. I also use CBEngine to look for good products to promote. You can quickly check vendors by payout, by gravity, according to best gains, as well as by categories.

I always set up my search by gravity but what I also look is payout. But this is all individual. I do that way because I know if the gravity is high means other affiliates are selling it well. That also mean big competition but also that market are hungry about the product.
Also what I check is payout and rebill, second tier.
When I chose the product I make quick research on Google about it and read some reviews about the product.
Then what I search is what kind of competition I will face if I decide to promote it.
        This is my way...

Sorry to be the bearer of inconvenient news, and even more sorry to strike such a contradictory tone, but I'm afraid it really means no such thing.

A high gravity doesn't even necessarily mean that any affiliate is successfully selling it at all.

As explained above, an affiliate buying one copy of a product through his own hoplink (as many do, especially with IM and MMO products) and an affiliate selling 5,000 copies of the product through his hoplink both add exactly the same 1.0 points to the product's gravity figure, and that's one of the reasons why there are so many products with single-figure gravities steadily outselling products with three-figure gravities. As the saying goes, "It only happens all the time!".

It's explained here in more detail, if it helps ...

(I apologise for the "duplicate content" in this thread, but sometimes all you can do to try to clear the confusion is to keep saying the same things in different words in the hope that, even if people continue to offer their erroneous assumptions about something, at least those who actually read the thread all the way through will also find the factual misinformation corrected in it ).

Just go to the CB marketplace, click on the Health & Fitness category and then use the filters to sort the products (by gravity, rebill amount, date...etc). Here's the link:

    Hi Frank,

You can't get this information for the simple explanation that sales figures are not disclosed by ClickBank. Not to you, not to me, not to affiliates, and not to the owners of sites like "CB Engine" either.

There are some strange websites which try to "estimate" what's selling well according to their own so-called "secret proprietary algorithms" ( ) but the reality is that they have no information at all to which you and I don't also have access, through ClickBank's Marketplace statistics.

What they commonly do have is a deeply misguided and erroneous assumption that high gravity products are necessarily selling well. That's nonsense, of course, because contrary to what some people assume, there's actually no correlation between gravity figures and numbers of sales.

No, this information is also not available. An affiliate buying one copy of a product through his own hoplink (as many do) and an affiliate selling 5,000 copies of the product through his hoplink both add exactly the same 1.0 points to the product's gravity figure.

That's one of the reasons why there are so many products with single-figure gravities steadily outselling products with three-figure gravities. "Popularity" is all that gives any indication of sales numbers, but the precise inputs to its algorithm are undisclosed, and so (of course) are their relative weightings: that one really is a secret formula".

You cam sort by gravity which is derived from the number of unique affiliates who made recent sales, and by commission amounts, but there is no way to compare vendor's total sales, or their conversion rates.

The default ranking of "Popularity" is showing you who is making the most sales. Per ClickBank... "Popularity is determined by a publisher’s net sales over a recent time frame and also rewards vendors who have many affiliates promoting them."

So although there is some weight given in the Popularity equation that's factoring in affiliates also, you can get a very clear idea what products are selling the most. For example the products in the top 3 positions are doing better than people ranking well below them.
