Where do I send traffic from article marketing

I have been reading alot of post about affiliate advertising using article marketing. My question is where do you send your readers to after that if they click on the link. I have heard the term landing pages and have heard that people give away free reports to get e-mail addresses. But I wanted to use a blog to send people to. So my question is. What kind of info would I put on the blog after they have already read my article on the article site. What if I am involved in multiple niches for this kind of marketing.

If this will be a wordpress blog add your autoresponder code to the page. You are also going to be better off targeting a group of keywords for your blog. Then your articles targeting 1-2 keywords from your keyword set. Then for every article you write do a rewrite of the article to place on your blog. jmho

Why not send to a squeeze page? After opt-in redirect them to your blog. This way you get leads while also getting exposure to your blog.

If you send them directly to your blog, it's likely they'll not stick around after the first visit and You'll have lost them forever.

    Hey pheonix,

I'd say a good idea would be
sending them to your blog or
    to you main website.

As I know many article sites do
not allow to post affiliate links.

It seem that you are asking multiple questions. First the article that you are using as a teaser to get visitor, in order not to lose your work. The squeeze page or auto responder should stay focus on the offer promised. You make the visitor commit to you that they want your information by trading you their contact information so you can follow up. You give the information requested. Send a thank you to make sure that did download your gift and add the link again only this time send them to your blog to download it from your site. You get to continue to follow up with them with offers and send them alert each time you post to your blog until they opt off your list.
