Sharing space or paying a fee?

For my social tuning network, I'm looking for content writers, related to the subject of modified and tuned cars. I have already 32.000.000 pages, but I want more.

How would you do it? Pay content writers a fee, I personal not like that idea. Or share with them the advertising space on the pages they write. (50/50)

Onetime fee, sounds interesting, but not so motivating, when you know you get a 50% from the advertising space I think the quality of the articles go up and the writers enjoy the income for years.

What would be a bigger motivation for you?

    Offer both options... One with instant payment after the article has been approved by your editorial team or yourself, offering a low rate, and offering ad revenue share. They will go for the rev share option the majority, and you are going to take too those writers who needs a quick fix on money. If you only can offer one option, I'll go with the rev share model. That's my two cents.

      The 50/50 system is allready working, and users are even earning money. I not want to pay people for the content they write. So I just have to find a way to promote it better.
      It seems that in your opinion I'm on the right way. )
