GoArticles Promotes New SPNbabble Service - Use With Or Without Twitter

Just received an email from GoArticles promoting a new service called "SPNbabble" (can't say I like the name at all). They bill it as...

"SPNbabble is a micro-blogging platform similar to Twitter and specifically created for web professionals - authors, webmasters, web developers, web designers, marketers, entrepreneurs, bloggers and business professionals of all stripes."
Not sure how it will take off, but looks interesting. The interface seems almost a clone of Twitter itself, so it is easy to use.

They go on to say:

"If you are already using sites like Twitter and Facebook for marketing, networking, branding, PR and building backlinks, then SPNbabble can save you a great deal of time and effort. Message posts on SPNbabble will simultaneously appear on Twitter, Friendfeed, Plurk, Tumblr and Facebook, if you have accounts on those services. And, we plan to tie SPNbabble into even more micro-blogging services."
I like the idea of saving time and having one update go to multiple locations... usually any kind of cross-promotion efforts end up being worthwhile. I am not personally the Twitter pro (nor am I associated with this service), so I don't know if there is already something like this out there or not, just wasn't sure if this had been posted about before and thought some might be interested in checking it out.
