If the OP is talking about web content, then quality content is basically truly unique and not-rehashed information that is written in an entertaining and attention drawing way. It's not a rewritten article, or a rewritten article from a group of other articles. | |

The best content is informative and unique. In other words, it provides helpful advice or tips that your visitor will not find elsewhere. Someone said to use the terminology of whatever industry you are in, but be careful with this. Be sure you know your market and your readers. Too much jargon can turn people off. Make your content easy to read by using sub-heads and bullets. People like to scan and these elements will aid that. Leave your hype and promotion until the end of your article. If the article is on your own site, consider making your product links as discreet as possible. One very effective method is to hyperlink the specific keywords within your article to your product sales page. Use quality keywords that receive good searches and are specific to what you are offering. Look for keywords that are targeted, rather than broad. For instance, if you're selling a dog training book, you might do better using the keyword 'Doberman dog training', or whatever you can find that would attract a specific type of dog owner. Hope this helps. Sylvia |
