Question Regarding eBay Listings

Hi. I have been thinking about putting a few affiliate banners in my eBay auctions to try and make a few more sales. Do you know if eBay allows this?

Regards
Richard

eBay is very tough on anything that sends traffic out of their networks. And affiliate links would therefore be not kosher [in my humble opinion]. But, you can sell info products with your affiliate links all over it all day long.

No and you will get a form letter if you mail them asking why they took your listing down and it will tell you that you need to use the classified section for that type of posting.

I use to make a full time income on eBay and one of set of listings was like for something on a download people pay for, book software and I would research to see if something like it was on open source. If it was I would structure my listing with a great call to action and price it at .01 cent. When they bought they would get a one to two page pdf with the link to the free product and I would go in detail with some lower priced paid products I thought they would like better with my link of course. I didn't make it on that type of listing alone but I still get checks in the mail from those pdfs and that was over 10 years ago.

Do you know how I can advertise a banner on eBay as I can't find where to do that?

Putting any kind of affiliate links in a Ebay listing is going to get you into trouble with them, possibly even banned.

If you really care about your account then I wouldn't even think about doing it again! Try using some paid traffic methods like FB ads or Adwords.

If you want to promote on ebay for free, think about clever services or information you can sell there that people are willing to buy. I have made quite a bit selling re-selling IM services there.
