Advice for newbie (creating product)

I'm new to internet marketing, I'm trying to build a list the standard way with a squeeze page offering a freebie directing them to a sales page etc from solo ads.

I'm considering about creating a product I never done this before but guessing this would be a much faster way to build a list?

I'm not really an 'expert' on the product I want to create but feel I know a decent amount which would benefit other newbies at the very least.

Should I write what I know and sell that or should I write what I know then send to a copywriter and will they re-write it or how does the process work?

Any advice appreciated

There a ton of great PLR internet marketing packages available that you could use and or modify to your liking. This was all you have to do is upload and drive traffic. This way you can spend you time on your own product while you build your list to use as upsells as your list grows.

    Hi.

If you can't write and don't want to go with the plr option ( which is a GREAT ONE ) you can make a short 15 minute video freebie or an audio freebie. Make sure you plan out EVERYTHING before you put up your splash page and start buying solo ads. Make sure you have a great OTO that matches your freebie. There are so many great list building products within Warrior forum that can help you set up a sales pages correctly without losing a ton of money in the process.

    Good luck.

Thanks very much for your advice.

I was more going towards creating a product and getting other affiliates to promote it on jvzoo for example and build a list that way.

Do PLR products really sell? I always figured they have been rehashed a lot and don't really offer much value? Never really looked into it a great deal though

Before selling WSO's on kindle publishing - I sold WSO PLR products. They are great if the niche is something people want and need to read about. There are many big stores that are dedicated to plr and have been for many many years. Using PLR for a splash page is great as long as it's from a good source and you make it your own. If you use it as is -- your list might not trust you any longer. Change the cover, the message and you'll be good.

Building a list of buyers is a good idea. Make sure the product is good and that you build your brand around it.

    Good luck.

If I create my own product is the best way of selling by just adding a paypal button? Will I run into any problems with paypal with refunds and such? What would you guys suggest?

Also to start with I'm basically going to be creating a small product for just myself to promote to really personalise and target the people I want in my list rather than throw other affiliate offers at them that don't really go together well.

I like working with PLR products to create sales pages. I have quit a few just sitting on my machines hard drive. And it's a Make Money Online Niche...

I'm ready to try solo ads to build a list, but I would like the solo ads' list to be of newbies in the MMO niche. Is there a way to find such solo ads list?

I am currently putting together a product that will help to narrow down your choices. To the best sub-niche market wise for your chosen main niche. This is still a w few weeks away.
However there is some very sound FREE advice on this subject on Blog. SEE signature below....

Solo ads would be the best way to attract the newbies in the MMO niche.
people already subscribed to a list are always easy to target.
You don't want others to sell it you can do it on your own, but you need to go with ads.

A good method I use for creating products that I would suggest to any first timer is to interview yourself about a topic, and either write the answers down, or record your answers to them, and create a presentation around them. Prezi - Ideas matter. is perfect for this.

The important thing to remember is that unless you're an expert, you're not going to be giving people information that they absolutely can't get anywhere else, so you have to add value by the way you deliver it. The amount of value you can add to an information product by making the information easy to consume is huge
