I really need to figure out how to get targeted buyers ;-) to my webinars. Does anyone have some advice on how I can promote?

Thank you in advance!

  • It depends on what your target audience is. If you are targeting a specific type of audience with a certain interest, then you could visit the types of social sites, forums, groups, etc where they would be hanging out and place an ad there or take advantage of any free (non spam) opportunities to announce your webinar. You could also network with mailing list owners who target your niche, and setup a JV with them where they either become part of your webinar and you then split the profits, or they simply announce your webinar to their list in exchange for an incentive for them to do so.

You must target organic search engine traffic, it is the most responsive traffic available.

You can also target the right audience with social media like facebook ads, it is really good to target a particular community and you can buy ad spaces, run solo ads.

It really depends on what the webinar is about, what you're promoting, who the target audience is and your advertising budget. Solo ads could work if you promote the webinar with a squeeze page, blogging if you do that, if the webinar is free safe list love free stuff that they're there, free marketing, they're also proven buyers since they're promoting affiliate programs. Facebook, youtube, social media...

Have you tried setting up a facebook event for your webinar and inviting your friends list or setting up a fanpage for your niche with fb ads and promoting it in there?

I know the first one has worked successfully for a few of my friends.

Thanks for all the advice. My business is focusing on mobile websites for small businesses. So I am thinking I can set up a FB fanpage, start some fb ads and try to find some solo ads that can get people in the seats...

You can find a local chamber of commerce, business owner or organization that doesn't have an optimized for mobile phones website and do a few for free. They then can be people who know your work and refer business to you (or to your webinars) as well as perhaps give testimonials you can put on your website.
