Real comments on high pr blogs vs writing articles non stop.

I was just wondering what's best for my blog SE Ranking wise, gaining multiple high pr do-follow links from blog comments, or simply churning out articles related to my blog non-stop and then submiting to several article directories?

Do both - high pr links are good - better if surrounded by relevant content - best if they also have keyword relevance in the link text.

Articles are good for relevance and authority links (link text) - and even though they are not high PR, if you're submitting to the big article sites like EzineArticles, you will get traffic to your site and ranking in Google for the article pages. It is good to have low PR links AND high PR links - it looks more natural.

Also - be sure to link to deep pages in your site - not just your home page.
