Is there demand for quality private label right (PLR) products?

Are there many entrepreneurs who don't like writing and want to get quality PLR articles, books, reports, etc.,?

Or, do they prefer to hire writers?

Thank you.

Hiring writers is always better if you have some budget.

If not, its the other way aroung.

PLR's are penalized by Google and look spammy.

Since when are PLR products or articles penalized by Google?? Don't be giving false info on here! You can paste the exact same article someone else has on their site and you won't get penalized for it. Sure the article isn't going to rank well because it isn't unique but Google will never penalize you for it. Google will penalize you for having the exact same content on 2 or more pages though.

Crappy PLR may look spammy but quality PLR articles can make you look like an authority figure if used right.

I subscribe to a quality PLR monthly service and rewrite each article in my own words. I get roughly 100 articles a month and don't even use all of them!
I got sick of trying to rewrite barely legible nonsense that you get in most free PLR articles.
If you can provide good quality, well researched PLR I'm sure you will get customers.

The way I see and use PLR is as "idea generation."

I've always gone through, put my own spin on things, and made it my own before giving it away or selling it.

I don't think many people just use PLR "off the shelf" - they normally add their own twist.

Yes, there are many who look for and use quality PLR. And yes, there are many who prefer to hire writers. There is plenty of room for both and many of us utilize both resources.

Completely untrue, unless you just don't know how to use PLR effectively.

I write both types of content and usually my freelance clients lack the time, skill or inclination to make PLR content unique. However, the demand is certainly there for quality PLR. It really depends on the particular entrepreneur and their preferences or budget.

    Hi,

There are just so many purposes for PLR it's hard not to make them work
hard for you and not the other way around.

It can be a lot cheaper and faster to work with too.

No need to hire and contact regularly, no need to explain what you
    want and need etc etc.

You pick what you need and work with it.

Of course the better the quality, the less you have to do to make it
a good strong piece of information that can help others.

There is a huge market for quality PLR, especially if you know how to position it. Check out Liz Tomey. I know she's an authority figure in the world of PLR. There are also many more right here on this forum.

Thank you for your insights. Now, how to position myself as a quality PLR?

If you are a good writer, that will be a good head start. Put some of your best material together, & use this forum as a starting point. You can create a site if you want with your own original work. Will take a bit of grunt work at the start, but what doesn't. Of course, you don't "have" to create a site. You can just issue review copies here & advertize your service here.

Alternatively, if you don't already have a writer in mind, you may have to try a few until you find one you like. Then, again, use this forum as a spring-board for feedback & to draw attention to yourself as a quality content provider.

plr is great if used properly as mentioned before :-)
