Things every Internet marketer should know.

Hello warrior forum,

I have been reading many posts lately about how nobody can find success... And I am definitely not at the top either, just making about 20 dollars a month. I have been listening to lead the field by earl nightingale on YouTube, which is truly a life changing course. I want to give encouragement to all the Internet marketers out there, because success is the progression toward a worthy ideal, not just making a bunch of money, and it takes hard work to achieve this. But note, focus on one thing at a time, and set a goal for what you want to achieve. Work every day toward this goal, and eventually you will find a way to achieve it. We are all in this together... We want to escape enslavement to the corporations 9 to 5, the enslavement to the banks every month, and enslavement to things we don't want to do on life. So keep working, and I hope this was an encouragement to all Internet marketers, especially those of us who are starting out... Keep working every day toward your goal and you will eventually achieve the freedom you desire!

Yes thanks for that my friend. Good advice... I have felt like giving up many times down the road after failures... but every failure is part of the learning curve, the quicker you get back up and try again the quicker you will get to the point you dream of. The key thing when you are new is to focus on one thing until it's the best it can be, then move on.

thanks for the words clay, we all want to do IM because we are tired of the 9-5 and want more time with family. We have to develop a working system in order to make money online .

Some cause-oriented hackers recently hacked one of my websites. So I researched what they're about and then donated a large sum of money to the entity they hate the most.

The next time they hack one of my websites I'm going to donate DOUBLE.

  • That's great advice and so true! I recently wrote a post about this because too often newbies going into this, have a lack of delayed gratification. The internet marketing business is a marathon and not a race. If you move steadily along you'll eventually make it to your finish line whatever it may be. But if you try to sprint in a race that is about endurance and worrying about what other runners are doing, you'll probably lose the race.

Here is a tip - Traffic is everything. If something works on 10 people - it will work on 10,000 people!

I think the biggest stumbling block for newbies is the failure connect with the visitors. Most newbies think " Traffic + Offer = $$"

    But in reality it's " Traffic + Relationship + Offer = $$$$$"

You have to be content with where you are as a newbie learning the ropes and have the drive and determination to make it work no matter what. I'll say that when you are the most frustrated and ready to quit, success is usually right around the corner. Avoid the shiny ball syndrome, stay focused, and continuing working towards your goals. I'll go broke slaving at a job that barely pays the bills or I can go broke working towards my dreams, I haven't gone broke yet, and everyday I'm just one step closer to being a full time dad and part time IMer.
