Hi guys,

Just a quick one. I've found some good keywords for my niche, I now want to make a page i.e. write an article for each keyword and I'm just wondering how I go about targeting each page to a particular keyword.

I think I know the answer but I just want to make sure I'm getting it right.

Am I right in thnking I need to have:

<title>Keyword</title>

<h1> Keyword</h1>

<img src="whatever" alt="Keyword">

<Article>About 1 in 100 words keyword density</Article>

Any help much appreciciated.

    When you say you've found good keywords does that mean that there is also low competition (very important)? Aside from that, your info sounds good but make sure your article flows, make sense and isn't too stuffed with keywords. It should sound natural and be cautious about linking in your article. You might want to keep that for your signature file.

      According to a video I watched from NPC I should look for keywords with 1-1000 monthly searches and less than 10000 competing sites when you search with quotes?

    when you place an alt tag to an image, make sure the keyword is actually relevant to the image... don't just label it for the sake of SEO.
    Any images you don't want the spiders to check, name with numbers (ie 0001.png).

    Yes. Google puts emphasis on pages where the search term is in the title and heading. Actually, the placement in the title is important. I set up a website for a friend for his offline business. The title took the format 'Company name - Targeted Phrase'. When you searched for the target phrase, he was at the top of the second page of the results. I changed it to 'Target Phrase from Company Name' and he shot up to fifth, and he's remained in the top five since.

    Also put your keywords in your internal link structure and that your other pages link back to your main page with your keywords. Eg

    Red Widget | Blue Widget | Red Widget Sitemap

    Easiest thing is to build your site with wordpress. Get All In One SEO plugin, H1 tag plugin and then put your keywords and links in your blogroll.

    Sure, and also, in my opinion, a keyword in the url is also a must.

    Include keyword in headline , then also in the summary of your article, also include similar words to your keyword. This makes it flow better than just placing the keyword every few sentences.
