Buying and Selling Websites.....

I am on WebsiteBroker.com and I see that many sites are for sale.

Some make 10k a month and are for 150k, and others make 15k a month and are for far far less.

How can one trust these sites? HOw can one trust that a site will work out?

Why would someone sell one of these cash cows for super cheap?

What is the #1 determining factor in pricing a website?

    Hmm
But -- what if its a site that makes 10k a month with 500 visitors?

I think its all about the income it makes.

There are so many points when selling a website.

    For example,

I market my ebook and make $300 per month. I market on various forums etc.

    Whereas,

I have another site which sells a software and makes a steady income of $300 per month by advertising in google (Adwords) with a certain list of keywords.

The first site would go for $1500 or less than that.

Whereas, People are ready to pay upto $3000 for the second site.

"What did you do to make $300 per month and it is easy ?" That's their question!

It all depends on the revenue generation process...

    I hope I helped..

Ask the sellers for the following:

    1. proof of income - eg Adsense, affiliate checks

    2. Website Statistics over last one year

    3.Check pagerank, alexa ranking, backlinks
