Group Coaching - Best Way?

Hi all

For those who have experience with group coaching, what's the best way to deliver a training session to a group?

Is it using webinar software?
Skype?
Maybe Google Hangouts?

I'd love to hear what is working for you right now when it comes to delivering info to your group.

Thank you
TJ

What you're asking is a pretty open ended question and difficult to answer specifically. So much depends upon the content and what you've committed to the people you're coaching.

Premium Web Cart recently added a "Coaching specific" scheduling system for automated appointment booking, billing, file sharing, etc. But people deliver content in so many ways.

    Here are a few examples:

    1. Membership Systems - Course content is delivere via the membership system and supplemented with coaching sessions via webinar, conference calls, etc.

    2. Webinars - The discussions are held first and then the content is distributed to the attendees afterwards through a membership system.

    3. Webinars (semi-private) - Same as above but the content is delivered via a private file sharing system so only the attendees have access to the specific content.

    4. Private Sessions - 1 on 1 sessions where info is traded back and forth through a secure file sharing system between the coach and student.

Thanks for the reply Tom. What I'm looking for is technical information on how to deliver a live group coaching session - to say 10 people.

What would be the best platform to do that?

      Cheers

        Adobe Connect is good.
Anymeeting.com is worth trying as is free.
        And of COurse Gotomeeting.com

I think those are some of the more popular.

Haven't did it in a while but go to meeting is best for me especially since I'm a member. I want total control though.

      Thanks for the answers everyone!

As my group coaching class size is 10 peeps I think I'll try Google Hangouts, with MeetingBurner as a fallback option.

      Cheers all!

The best way based on my experience with group coaching is:

Live webinar, outline and a detailed handout with homework assignments.

Use the handouts because it prevents people from having to take notes. They can focus on the coachng webinar

I would prefer Skype group video conferencing ,it may work better than any other.
      I haven't used it though.
