How many emails do you have and how do you manage them?

Hi,

I was wondering how many emails addresses you have and how do you manage them?
You also use your email on your mobile device?
Or do you use hosted exchange?

I am just curious how you handle this?

    Heya Richard

    I have a simple solution:

    * create a Gmail account that you will use as some kind of "big, main, centralised letterbox"

    * set all your other email accounts to forward to that one (and keep a copy in the original account if possible -- which it's not always possible to do depending on the email service. yahoo don't seem to do this, for example)

    * never, ever, ever, ever send an email from this "big, main, centralised letterbox" account (including no replies!) Ever.

Using Roboform helps with this last point because if I do want to reply to something, I just open a new tab and log in with one click using Roboform. Then I can reply. With Yahoo I need to go back to the Gmail tab and copy the reply to address.

Generally works fairly well. Tons of email, obviously, but if you're fairly judicious with what you bin, unsubscribe from, star to read later, etc. it can be done. And that way you only have to actually "check" a single account once or twice a day.

    Hope that helps!

I have about 15-20 email addresses and I don't manage them very well at all. I have a few aol addresses that I use just to sign up for mailing lists and free reports.

I actually use my cpanel to forward most of them to 1 of 3 main emails (1 Hotmail, 1 Yahoo, 1 Gmail) that I use and then I can see all of those on the top of my igoogle front page.

I have about 15-20 and, like Richard Odell, I manage them all via Popmail to one email program. I'm using Eudora (free Pro version) though instead of Thunderbird.
