How To Be More Productive

For those warriors who want help with focusing on projects and getting tasks done, here's an app I downloaded the other day after reading an ebook...

It's called Focus Booster. (Not affiliated)

It's based on the Pomodoro method of working for a select amount of time 25 to 55 minutes then taking a break. This allows your brain (the best muscle in your body) to rest.

I needed this because I would work extremely long hours. You think you're being productive but in actuality, you're brain is not operating at full capacity.

I actually feel better and more motivated throughout the day.

I downloaded the Mac version which happens to be free (I think the PC version is also). It caused my fan to run a lot so I don't run as it much.

I ended up downloading the iPhone app which is free also but it's limited. I went ahead and paid the $1 to unlock it because I liked how the computer version helped me.

What are you thoughts on the Pomodoro method?

I just use a egg timer. Set it for 30 minutes. Bell rings, take a 10min break and go at it again.

MY plan isn't to work long hours, it's to work efficient hours.

Used to use it to push myself. Now i pretty much enjoy the grind so I stopped using it. It might be good for productivity though (parkinsons law)

      Very cool.

You can set it up in the settings so that it is "always on top", thus never escaping view... I'm going to integrate setting this up in my "Daily Marketing Routine" (DMR) and see what happens. :-)

I use the Pomodoro technique after reading about it a year or so ago, definitely good for marketers who have a variety of projects going on at the same time.
