Ebook Cahpter bookmarks, Openoffice not working?

I've been struggling with my ebook all morning trying to get the bookmarks/chapters to work so that when the Pdf is opened you have the chapters listed down the left hand side.

Has anyone else had this problem when using openoffice writer and know how to overcome it?

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that's a bookmark setting in the pdf reader - In foxit reader clicking on the bookmarks setting in the "View" option will open the bookmarks on the left hand side of the reader. In adobe you click on the bookmarks icon.

Lol, I already know this but it doesnt seem to be working, I've checked that openoffice is exporting the bookmarks to the PDf but they arent showing in the PDF, Im getting rather annoyed with it, the grand finale of my ebook and it won't even go right :-(

Strange... How are you creating the bookmarks?

To my knowledge there are two ways of creating a clickable table of content:

    1) Inserting a TOC which is updated from text you apply the heading format
    2) Inserting and setting cross references (easier to format and you can position them where you want)

Both will be displayed in the bookmarks in a pdf reader
