A List In the Cosmetic Surgery Niche, What Do You Think?

Warriors are a honest and very resourceful community and I like to post here because I know I'll get some good ideas!

Well, today its about the Cosmetic surgery niche.

What I noticed from a sneaky little test...

I just downloaded a few pictures and made a 4 page blog on blogspot and after looking at the traffic stats more than a year later I see consistent hits coming in everyday.

I noticed that this niche is made up for a desperate crowd who are needy and desperate to interact with each other and share pictures and experiences.

The Million Dollar Idea That Came to My Head....

Now, how about I create a community for them, and of course I'll build a list...Wouldnt that be really good for them? Wait, do such exist?

Now Here Goes My Big Question....

I have done all this and my website is doing great...but, what really can I sell to these guys? Remember cosmetic surgery is a niche that is dominated by able (read rich) guys who are willing to spend a lot.
How can I tap into these riches putting into consideration I have they emails?

Share ideas guys....

Since it's a plastic surgery niche what about anti-aging things like affiliate sponsored wrinkle cremes, facial exercisers, weight loss products (Sensa, Weight Watchers, etc.) Sometimes people don't really want surgery, but alternative solutions to surgery.

Cosmetic surgery isn't a "niche": it's a market and an absolutely huge one - one of the biggest and most lucrative in the world (and growing, too, almost all over the world).

I appreciate your concerns about competition. Identifying, isolating and targeting a specific niche may, to some extent, help with those issues, too.

Alexa, I value your contribution but you didnt have to focus on the technically valueless bit of the post; I mean who cares about the definition of the word and whether its a market or a niche...the point was to gather ideas on what to sell to these folks and not to get a good clear dictionary definition.
      Lets stay objective here.

That was my purpose in posting: to make the point that (in my opinion) you should be deciding on a niche - which you haven't yet done - before (or at least as part of) trying to decide what to sell to its traffic, in the normal way. I felt that what you were asking yourself, relating as it did to a huge market, was likely to be more or less unanswerable in a profitable or productive way and that a more focused frame of reference would therefore be practically helpful to you. Apologies, though, if I came across as trying to give a dictionary definition: that was far from my intention.

Good luck and good wishes for the project.

If you are getting those kinds of leads, maybe you should contact lots of companies / surgeons that offer that kind of work and offer them clients in return for some commission. Depending on what areas your clients are coming from you could try and set up with suppliers in those areas. I have never heard of this being done it could work...

How about offering them an abundance of natural ways to improve their beauty and health... they may be interested in this as well. There are many products like these on clickbank.

Would you act as middleman between your site visitors and cosmetic surgeons? That's one idea.

You can promote CPA offers besides affiliate products. There is a CPA section in this forum.
