How about tutorial sites for traffic?

Hi, guys. Need your help. Again and again I come across internet marketing articles suggesting tutorial sites as good traffic sources. They claim that if you contribute high quality content there on the regular basis you'll get awesome numbers of visitors flowing to your website. They also provide short lists of them where always eHow, Wikihow included. I'd love to contribute to those places my best content but I can't figure out how they reward contributors. I often arrive on those sites when searching for something in Google, read articles there, but there are no links to the authors' blogs or anything of that kind, just content and ads places by admins. What's the reason to submit content there? May be they share ad revenue with the writers, I don't know. I don't need that.

Are there good tutorial sites to contribute ( general or for IM, dating niches )? What's your experience? Thanks.

Why don't you try promote your niche sites to relevant sources anyways? Like niche forums? Blogs? Social groups and communities? Social bookmarks? These are good traffic sources for your own respective niche sites like no other.

Oh, man, of course I do. I'm interested to learn about tutorial sites. What if I'd add some of them to the list of traffic sources.
