Best Day of Week for Amazon Affiliates

Hello Warriors,

I'm hoping you can help me out, those of you who are Amazon affiliates. Do you have any idea which day of the week is your most active in terms of number of sales?

It would interest me to see so that I can focus content publication on the right days of the week.

    Apparently, Sunday is the best day for some although I've not noticed any particular day being better.

      It depends.

      I don't have any stats to back it up, but here's my logic...

      Start with an item you might promote. Think of what day someone in the market might want to use it. Estimate the average shipping time. Post your content at least that many days in advance. I usually add a few extra days.

      Say you wanted to promote a BBQ grill for the Memorial Day summer kickoff. In the US, average ship time is ~4-5 days. Add a little slack and time for content to spread, and you want to post somewhere in mid-May.

        Consider timing your content close to holidays, major events, historical anniversaries, etc. If you are syndicating articles, take into account that some of the better publications may have lead times of several months.

    I think maybe the best days for Amazon affiliates to sell products are holidays (especially my favorite Christmas holiday). In this way, you could be getting more sales, as more and more people are buying gifts from Amazon to their loved ones.

    I got mine spread out pretty evenly during the week target late evening after people get off work and can purchase the product. Weekends on the other hand tend to work better in mid afternoon.

    The best days, would be just before major events, weekends or holidays. People want the item during those times.

    My site traffic and Amazon sales tend to be highest Monday - Thursday. Could just be my niche, though - YMMV. You'll start seeing some trends of your own once you have some sales history under your belt.

    Saturdays and Sundays are both good,
    On saturdays most of people don't have leave from offices or don't have time, so Sunday is much better.

    My sites see highest traffic and sales on Moday. However, I have a couple of sites that gets most of the traffic on weekends.

    It doesn't matter what day of the week you publish your content because your content is not going to immediately be ranked on page 1 of Google the day you publish it. Personally I recommend posting new content to my website every 3-5 days. You can get 20 product review articles that are 500 words long written for you on elance and then drip feed them to your website for the next 2 months. In months rinse and repeat.

    The goal is to get all of your content ranking on page one of Google for the product you are promoting. So if you do a content on blue widgets you might want to get it ranked page 1 for blue widget review, review for blue widget, where to buy blue widget, best price for blue widget etc.

    You will find that you will make the most commissions during Nov, Dec and Jan. In most cases you will make more in those 3 months than the other 9 months combined. Your goal then is to get your content ranked on 1st page of Google before November.

      Sundays are by far the best day of the week for me for years now.

      Other than that Holidays and especially Christmas is the best time of year.
