Hi all, I'm fairly new to commission junction.I signed up to be an affiliate for a certain webhost and would like to put their banner on my blogs. So when your signed into CJ and find the product that you want to promote-do you click get links and your affiliate id is inserted automatically? Or do you need to somehow insert your own id somewhere? TIA, Deanna |

Normally you need to apply to the individual affiliate program. On the chart that you see when you click "get links" there is a section that lists your relationship with the advertiser. It's the last space on the right, I believe. Once you are an active affiliate of that program, your ID is already embedded in the links that you get. Respectfully, Kevin |

Hi Deanna, You must first click on "Apply to program". Some programs are auto-approved, some are manually reviewed first. Once you're approved for a program, you can go to "Get Links" by "Relationship" where you'll see the programs you've joined. From there, you can grab the complete link you'll need to use. In the case of banners, you'll also want to download and save the graphic itself. Hope that helps~ Mark |
