Default Canadian Warriors: How to get a merchant account?

I want to set up a merchant account but none seem to be offered in Canada.

How do I go about getting one?

Thanks,

Aaron

Aaron,

I've run into similar troubles- I'm in the US but I've had Canadian client who needed merchant/gateway setups.

Most Merchant service providers require that you use a US bank if you're international... not very convenient.

I've found the following company helpful, as the offer both US/Canadian solutions.

InternetSecure, 905-469-6522

I recently spoke at the Canada Marketing Summit and wanted to provide an Authorize.net gateway enabled merchant account solution for Canadian based companies since ours and so many other ecommerce automation solutions work with the Authorize.net gateway.

We hooked up with a company called "Charge Today" who has worked with us to be able to provide Authorize.net enabled Canadian Merchant accounts.

We set up a form that submits your request direct to one of the executives of Charge Today, Glen Kaplan, and specifies the application as a Canadian request:

Request form for Canadian based merchant account with Authorize.net Gateway
